THAT UPSTART LITTLE LINUX company that's forever tweaking the Vole's nose is back again. Lindows.com seems to be forever willing to put itself right in Microsoft's path and risk being run down. Its latest scheme is one that is sure to make systems builders give Lindows.com some very careful thought. The company currently offers system builders the rather nice money saver of a $500 flat fee. It doesn't matter how many PCs you ship, that's the price you pay to include the LindowsOS. It's a nice deal. Lindows.com then makes its money by selling software and other services. |
