I only have a Ti4400, which is fine for my stuff, but I wonder if this will close the performance gap between the FX59xx Ultra and the ATI Radeon 9800 cards?
I can only go by what I read, but apparantly ATI is kicking nVidia's butt in shader performance (apparantly the next big thing). Rumor has it this driver release was supposed to even the score. TL |

You really didn't give much info, so I'm really guessing here...
Is your problem: "Error Message: An Error Occurred While Windows Was Working with the Control Panel file C:\Windows\System\Desk.cpl." ? If so, go here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q217/7/52.asp&NoWebContent=1 Watch the line break, of course. TL |
