Thanks WMLAH.com "Now that the dust has settled on the XML Web Services front, it seems like the right time to survey some of the mainstream Web Services available, with a focus on those offered by Microsoft (see Live Web Services). Microsoft offers several Web Services to the general public including the Microsoft.com Web Service, TerraService, MapPoint® Web Service, and .NET Alerts. Developers can use all of these services to introduce valuable functionality and content into their applications.
