I have posted my review of this year's version of Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro. Here is an excerpt:
One of the latest hardware combinations coming out of Redmond is all about simplicity and style. Microsoft has released the second version of the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro in its attempt to jazz up some of the hardware on your desktop. This product follows a long line of stylish devices Microsoft has released this season and last (and actually includes variations of some of these devices). Using patented Optical Technology and sporting a black/ dark silver and hip design, Microsoft is trying to set a groove with people who want something sleek and stylish, yet functional (and wireless), on their desktop. Does the mouse and keyboard combo live up to its promises? Read on to find out.

Excellent Review Bob!
I have last years model and won't be upgrading. I did feel the new mouse up at bestbuy and I prefer the way it feels to what I am using now (Intellimouse Explorer 3.0). However the keyboard is almost exactly the same so I won't be upgrading.
I have two of these keyboards. One for my office and one for my home theatre. The range in the home theatre is a problem however. I have to have the usb dongle and therefore computer really close to wherever I choose to sit. Bluetooth solves this problem although they don't make it in the ergonomice natural style that i prefer.
Bob, do you know if MS is going to update the bluetooth line with a bluetooth natural keyboard?
Peace,
RA

Thanks RA. You ask every year about the Bluetooth! I wish one would come out. I'd switch immediately....let's hope.

I believe the only thing coming in the near future is the corded version of the WIE.

BOOOO!!!
Well I will wait a little bit longer then although I really hope that someone from MS Hardware reads about the interest in a natural bluetooth keyboard.
Interesting KB TL. But not to my tastes. I really do prefer the ergonomic natural keyboard style. I couldn't ever go back to a flat keyboard.
I'll probably upgrade my mouse to the Intellimouse Explorer 4.0 when it comes out. Its already in the drivers. I wonder when they will release it.
Peace.
