Codenamed "Longhorn," the operating system is pegged for an early 2006 release. "Although there is no ship date yet, we are on this 12-city tour early so that developers have a sense of direction," said David Chappell, a highly regarded industry consultant and the keynote speaker at the Irish preview. |
