"I prefer the Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse"
Microsoft's notebook optical mouse isn't wireless. Since the microsoft mouse lacks the wireless feature it must have another feature that in your opinion more than makes up for the lack of being wireless. Have you tried the logitech mouse? If not, how do you know you prefer the microsoft one? If yes, what about microsofts notebook mouse do you like better?
"I'm with Bob on this one. Plus I got mine free, you can't beat free...."
I'd be curious to hear your opinions on the above questions as well. what makes up for the lack of being wireless other than the price of free.

"It needs to be L shaped instead of sticking straight out the back of the laptop. I'm always afraid when I move the laptop around from desk to lap or elsewhere that I'm going to break it off."
Unless the L goes up, this could be a problem on laptops that have other plugs next to the USB ones. The L shape UP could also be a problem for people who bend the screen all the way down and use a couple of desktop monitors during normal operation instead. Maybe if it was adjustable it would work.

I agree with #1.
When I first started repairing ThinkPad's 6 years ago, I HATED that damned thing. Now I can't stand trackballs, trackpads or external mice on a Laptop.
IBM's latest models with both the trackpad AND the trackpoint are a step backward IMHO. The trackpad is always in the way and the palm rest is no longer comfortble because of it.
Not to mention their reliability has sucked.

Monkeydog. why include a holder for a mini? Just make the entire keyboard a bong. Crap with all of the case mod how to guides out there, just turn the entire system into a bong.
