I thought it would be interesting to get a little more information on the new ASP.NET 2.0 because we haven't heard so much about this new version, but the article really didn't contain very much information.

Why bother with asp? It's propietary, pricey, and crappy! There're many alternatives. cfm, for example.

Well sure but it's always good to know about the competition, what features are cropping up, if there are any gaps in the open source tools we're using and where to fill them in, stuff like that.

Some things are just obvious, I guess. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what they wrote on the back of the software's packaging! Right under the screenshots.
