Microsoft says image in Japan has been tainted | |

The head of Microsoft's Japan unit acknowledged yesterday that the company's battle with Japanese anti-monopoly authorities over a licensing clause has hurt its corporate image here. But Michael Rawding, Microsoft Japan's president and chief executive, said the company will continue to oppose a Fair Trade Commission ruling last month ordering Microsoft to retroactively remove the clause from its licensing agreements. |

| Now that I think about it, it is very astute of Microsoft to cozy up to the crybabies mentioned in the artcle. Good PR, lets the crybabies save face, or whatever. What a crazy legal world we live in. |
