I have this keyboard/mouse.

I don't use the tilt feature... it's worthless. Having the scrollwheel on the keyboard, however, is very nice.

You'd be amazed at how nice it is to have that scroll wheel on the keyboard. Especially when you are reading online documentation. You just lean back in your chair and slowly scroll downwards.

How come Microsoft is hardly releasing any new ergonomic/split keyboards?

#8, they have the new slider wireless desktop set - it features a lot of media controls and a new keyboard layout that is a mix of the two - a sweeping key layout that allows for a more natural positioning of one's hands. I've only seen one [boxed], but do not know how well it performs. It is relatively new and seems interesting.

The featured KB/Mouse combo is of very high quality. We ship these with the systems we build for people and business. Personally, I ditch the wireless mouse in favor of a wired mouse. The KB is excellent - perhaps the best since the Office KB in terms of feel. The KB based wheel allows one to keep one's hands on the KB. We have found that it works very well for people doing a lot of data entry - for example a group of medical coders that key in insurance claims, or admin staff at medical offices keying patient record data. CPA's like it, too and for the same reasons - they like to keep their hands on the KB.
