Microsoft leaped into the paid-search online advertising world Wednesday with the introduction of the beta of MSN adCenter, which will provide advertisers with demographic usage profiles linked to keywords.
Analysts say Microsoft will be able to bring much to the still-developing field of paid ad search by leveraging its Passport, Hotmail and other services that require registration.

The only real problem for them is that nobody is using MSN Search. Nobody trusts MS to serve up information without some (not so) hidden agenda.

That's odd. I know of substantially more people using MSN Search now and have dumped Google.

Good thing I deal with facts, not fable. Enjoy your fantasy world.

#4: On second thought, I do believe you. You're such an MS Apologist that I suspect you only hang out with people who are in love with Microsoft as much as you. Naturally they only use MS Search. However, I'm talking about the real world outside the realm of the ActiveWin MS love-in. Google is a verb now, it has such wide-spread recognition. No amount of MS money will change that, unless MS decides to have IE 7 block www.google.com.

msucks: I'm sorry, but MSN Search is a LOT more customizeable, and is much easier to find more obscure sites with.
The only thing that Google has going for it is it's massive web index, which is also its bane, as it has become more difficult to find relevant results.

"You're such an MS Apologist that I suspect you only hang out with people who are in love with Microsoft as much as you."
Obviously you must be talking about someone else. Sure doesn't fit my experience.
"Naturally they only use MS Search. However, I'm talking about the real world outside the realm of the ActiveWin MS love-in. "
As am I.
Better luck next time my friend.

#1, According to this web site, http://searchenginewatch.com/reports/article.php/2156431 as of December 2004, Microsoft is number three and has 16% share of search, Google 35% and Yahoo 32%.
So, I guess you are wrong again, Latch, but what is new about that! lol
