Microsoft presented some of the changes they have made to IE7 Beta 2 to the security professionals at the Hack in the Box Security Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last week. This is the first time that Microsoft has actively sought the advice of the hacking community, and they plan to continue to do so based on the feedback they’ve received. The IE7 presenters stated that instead of maintaining an adversarial relationship with the hacking community as Microsoft has done in the past, they would like to try to “benefit from their passion and expertise.”
