the inquirer |

The inquirer spoke with some big OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and learned that the great Satan of Software plans to ship Vista before the end of the year. But there is a catch, it will ship it to the OEMs and possibly even system integrators.
This makes perfect sense as the big OEMs such as Dell, HP or Lenovo which actually need an operating system to boost its Yule PC sales. Few buy OEM machines in January.

A non-story by that rag of a website. It's already been established weeks ago that Vista will be finished by Nov roughly, but this won't give OEMs enough time to have it out before xmas (cos they will have to thoroughly test it with the thousands of configurations that they ship their PCs with). So big deal, OEMs will have it before xmas, but nowhere in that "story" does it say whether OEMs will be able to ship it before xmas. Idiots.

Any article that calls MS a "great Satan" should not be posted on this site. Plus the rest of the article is BS. I could have given you a better link about this story without much effort.

I think you guys post garbage from the inquirer because you know you will get comments like this one. I guess I fell for it.

I'm forever hearing people whining about the Inq and Reg, yet they never say why. What's the matter, can't cope with some English humour or idioms? Or is it because they don't kiss MS' ass like a good site should?

#5, read #1 and #2 comments and you'll see why we complain. It's not humour, it's clearly rubbish news.

#6: I read your posts and the original article. The only knock I could see was that they are a little late with the story. It says what it says and the information is correct. What's the problem then? You're complaining about things they didn't say? You're only guessing yourself that the major OEMs won't get it in time to take it to market.
