How Windows Vista RTM Build Addresses Wireless Connectivity Issues
Time: 02:24 EST/07:24 GMT | News Source: Windows Vista Blog | Posted By: Kenneth van Surksum

Well my laptop is now vistafied.

Last night, I had wireless working. Intel 3945 card. Worked pretty good until laptop went into standby. I had to reboot to get wireless access back.

Vista is good in many ways. It's faster, more responsive, smoother. The popups for admin access all the time are a major suck though. I've had a few problems installing things... VS.NET 2005 SP1[Beta](Had to reboot) and SQL Express Management Studio SP2[CTP](Had to run as Administrator).

But I had my DVD-ROM disappear on me until a reboot. And I had wireless disappear until a reboot. I think we need more up to date drivers and such.
