Many users are interested in whether or not Windows 7 will be an improvement in terms of performance, but that verdict will only be out once benchmark tests are performed on the RTM build. That will be a while. Other users have their eyes set on what features Windows 7 will offer over Windows Vista. Will Microsoft's next operating system add something that truly makes the user exclaim "wow!" or make customers rush to stores the second it hits the shelves?
The current internal builds look like Windows Vista, and this is completely normal because Microsoft begins work on the user interface last. Nevertheless, there have been minor features added already (none of which are set in stone of course). Out of everything we've seen in these early builds, there really hasn't been anything to write home about yet, until now
Update: The article now notes that a Microsoft employee on Channel 9 has confirmed that the video is a fake.

It may or may not be a fake, but one thing is for sure... it's not breathtaking.
It's actually fairly boring.

They've clearly either ripped off or embedded GPSoft's Director Opus for their new "Explorer". If you want tabs, dual listers, FTP integration, keyboard shortcuts, etc. right now, you can try it yourself for free:

Certainly looks a lot like DirOpus... ah I remember when that first came out on the Amiga! Brilliant piece of software.
Anyways, explorer looks "overly" complicated by all those tabs and options to me...

I say complicate Explorer. Casual pc users don't make use of explorer anyway, as they SAVE documents to default locations and then simply search for the files from the Start Menu. The rest of us could make use of more features w/i Explorer.

"The current internal builds look like Windows Vista, and this is completely normal because Microsoft begins work on the user interface last. "
EPIC FAIL!
Any good programmer knows that you always, ALWAYS design the user interface first, then the supporting code. No wonder the windows UI is so inconsistent sometimes.
