A small Yahoo Inc investor proposed a new deal Thursday to sell the company to Microsoft Corp for $22 a share, a 74 percent premium to the Web pioneer's current stock price.

With the price of Yahoo!'s stock nearly cut in a third of its peak price when Microsoft offered to buy it, Mithras Capital is sitting on a huge loss in value.
Meanwhile, Ballmer just has to sit back and wait for Yahoo!'s share price falls still further as revenue and earnings continue to fall. At this rate, Ballmer can write a check out of petty cash for the company! |

| Yahoo shareholders had the opportunity to dump their board and elect one with a mandate to merge with Microsoft. But they didn't. Microsoft's business has been quickly evolving and they are no longer interested in purchasing Yahoo. |
