This place is like a ghost town! No posts since Tuesday and CES is going on.
Just get the new site up regardless of it's state before even the ghosts leave.

#1: The problem with ActiveWin is postings are not done daily and rarely posted as news breaks. There was a 14 day period, at the year's turn, where no news was posted, just how to say Merry Christmas in multiple languages. I really would like to see daily postings. I don't bother to check ActiveWin very often anymore. Neowin has more "breaking" news, although the comments on Neowin.net mostly seem to be written by high school students that can't spell well and argue unconvincingly. Computing news is what I look for. ActiveWin was great but now is in an on/off mode that hopefully will change when the new site becomes active, as long as news is posted when it breaks and not a week later.

Once the new site goes up it's expected to go back to the way it was - posting as soon as news is out, actual self-written news too that isn't just linked back to other sites.
I'm just as desperate to use the new site as every other reader.

Listen. I cannot force people to work. I am doing this by myself, very rarely does anyone offer to help. I have to edit the reviews, post the news, and everything else. I've paid the new developer for the site in advance, he hasn't done much. I had lunch with him on Friday, he has promised to finish soon. I've paid others to finish the site designs, do the CSS and HTML. If I didn't have a full time professional job, I'd have more time to get the news posted. I will do a better job of that!

Can we have editorials by some of us? In case of slow news days we can get the conversation started with reviews of products, or analysis of current trends.
