#2 It's always best to censor information that you don't want out in the public. Perhaps Microsoft should pay it's employees to write the code properly the first time - it's not as if they don't have enough money/resources to do it.

#4 Its too bad Firefox is still censoring information on bugs in its product.

Exploit code and details embargoed during the active update period.

The Mozilla bounty for bugs has been around a long time. It hasn't helped them write bug-free code.

http://www.mozilla.org/security/bug-bounty-faq.html

"August 2, 2004 - The Mozilla Foundation today announced the Mozilla Security Bug Bounty Program, an initiative that rewards users who identify and report security vulnerabilities in the open source project's software. Under the new program, users reporting critical security bugs - as judged by the Mozilla Foundation staff - will collect a $500 cash prize. The new initiative was launched with funding from leading Linux software developer Linspire, Inc., and renowned Internet entrepreneur Mark Shuttleworth."

#7 Not all are OS X. A bunch are cross platform Quicktime flaws that can allow your system to be compromised.

Remember folks, smart people do not run Quicktime on their PC's. Its dangerously insecure.
