Hey!  I'm Will. :-)  For those of you not familiar with who I am, I do all of the programming around here at ActiveWin.  The news engine, comments, and soon user profiles, message boards, and other cool stuff are all things that I've come up with (or going to come up with).  I'm 18 years old, I have a siberian huskey named Ranger, a shiny new Frontier, and I like ergonomic keyboards.  I love to fly and wish I could do it more often.  I live in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.  For those of you who have never been to a Mardi Gras, you don't know what you're missing!  I first got online with MSN on April 9, 1996, and oddly enough, became a Microsoft Certified Professional exactly five years to the day after that.  I'm currently working on becoming an MCSD, which I hope to accomplish by August 2001.

I spend a great deal of time working on ActiveWin and working with Bob, Byron, and the rest of the staff.  I'd consider myself a VB Expert, who loves COM, sockets, and databases.  What I would do without these things - I have no idea, and I really don't want to go there anyway.  Apart from ActiveWin, I am a senior in high school, although I am concurrently enrolled at UNO where I take Calculus II.  Math is obviously one of my stronger subjects.  I served as the Louisiana Mu Alpha Theta (national math honor society) Corresponding Secretary for 2000-2001 where I took their old ways of paper & snail mail and threw it out the window.  I introduced a whole new method of registering students and running their state convention, all done by computer of course!   I do a lot of consulting work, mostly network administration type of stuff, but would like to do more VB and SQL.  I plan on going to college where I will major in Computer Science and possibly minor in Computer Engineering.
