Ctrl-Enter Tips For IE

Tip Difficulty Level: Novice

This is one of the most simple tips around for Internet Explorer users. It will add the http://www and the .com at the end of your addresses automatically.

How This Tip Works

One of my favorite IE tips is ‘Crtl-Enter’. What you do is type the name of the web address in the address bar and then press Crtl-Enter. IE automatically enters ‘www.’ and ‘.com’ for you. Example: type ‘activewin’ in the address bar and press Crtl-Enter – IE will fill in www.activewin.com for you.
