Using Active Movie

Tip Difficulty Level: Novice

For those of you that don't know. The event viewer in Windows XP maintains logs about program, security, and system events on your computer.

How This Tip Works

Ever wondered what happened to the good old Active Movie from Windows 9x? Well it is still around if you want to use it in Windows XP. Just create a shortcut with all of the following:

"%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe amovie.ocx,RunDll"

Make sure you omit the quotes and include the space. Enjoy!
