Golf works surprisingly well as a video game - even though there is no slaying, no high speed pursuits and no frenetic, nerve-twitching action. Big improvements in graphics power on consoles and PCs have brought an air of realism to proceedings, with many of the world's most famous courses faithfully recreated. Links 2004 on the Xbox is Microsoft's conversion of the popular PC game which has done much to raise standards in the genre. |
