HI,

I have run out of USB ports, having two in my PC and two in my monitor (one of the PC ones being used by the usb connector from the monitor (monitor is VGA, not usb, this usb is just to daisy-chain the ports in the base of the monitor) I also have a hub with 7 ports, with its own power source, yet I get frequent usb power surge messages, any ideas? how can the usb devices be asking for more power when the power source of the hub is there?
