Well, can u boot into windows or no? If not your using the dos version of xcopy which wasnt designed to backup a hard drive.

If your trying to do this within windows you really need a 3rd party program rather than playing with this. I guess you could enable the set command and copy the files from recovery console. I personally would use norton ghost from a bootdisk, only takes 5 mins to backup a whole hard drive.
