ANd how is copying files on the HD related to office? you lost me. You also said your pc auto restarted (bug checked) but you post an error message not a blue screen. Post the exact errors you get. Disable auto restart in my computer properties > advanced tab > 3rd settings tab > uncheck auto restart. Does this happen in safe mode? Has it ever worked? Meandrake, 1106 is sp1 final. Check for spyware/iomega softwar/bonzai buddy/gator/download managers/anything that hooks into explorer. -gosh
