Tough question. You noted at the end you tried to do a reinstall, but you still have the reboot issue. That would almost certainly make it a hardware or BIOS issue. First, can you provide a little more info as to your motherboard/BIOS? Also, what size is your current "C" drive? Are they connected to the same controller on the same cable? My first guess is that something's incorrectly set in the BIOS.
