Disconnect any external devices that aren't essiential. If possible, go back to windows 9x that you were using. To do that keep clicking F8 till you get the startup menu, and click uninstlal. Or run osuninst.exe from a command prompt. You can get a command prompt in setup by pressing shift+f10. Once back in win9x, go to start > run > type: msconfig, then uncheck all the boxes, click ok, restart. Also uninstall any software like goback, norton systemworks, cd burning software, antivirus. Then run setup again.

Another thing u can try is looking at setupact.log in the c:\windows\ folder.

So tell me again why you think your so right? Are you expressing an opinion or fact? I think your just basing your experience with 5 pc's. You sound like a warez script kiddie that think's he's badass because he pirates software

Dont call me a dummy boy, i do troubleshooting all day long and believe me, these apps cause major problems. Disabling them is not enough, you gotta UNINSTALL THEM. Ignore my advice if you want, when your pc gets screwed up dont ask me to fix it ;) Your just a little script kiddie, why dont you go back to irc where you belong ;-)

That's what i said to do. His problem is at beginning of setup, not after. YOur post made absolutly no sense at all.
