I have a quickcamPro3000 which gives me tons of troubles in XP. I have the latest drivers and all, yet the cammera just freezes with the ligth on and that's it, it brings the whole system with it (it makes it veryb unstable), If I use it from My computer and take a picture, the second picture I try freezes the thing, it stays in a capture loop, and never comes out of it. Even in its own software it just stops responding, and the incorporated mic is a pain, if i use MSn with the cammera after a few seconds the image freezes, sounds goes out, but that's it, and the system goes unstable again (I have the latest updates from MS) any ideas....?

interesting, I do have a Via Chipset, on an ASUS motherboard for an athlon 1ghz.

What is the problem with VIA, and is that something that applies to all VIA chipset? including the new ones for AthlonXP (thinking of upgrading)?

Also, my mouse is USB, and so is my keyboard, which makes it hard to have the cam being the only USB devie running when in use...any ideas...?
