Perhaps you could give us a little more information about your computer hardware. Also, a little more information on what you're doing when it freezes would help. Oft times this type of problem may be related to a power supply that's going bad, a virus, another piece of hardware that's failing, etc. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100

Again (!), if you could provide a little more information on your computer hardware (i.e. make, model, side of HD, amount of RAM, type of video card, etc etc etc etc etc), could help. Also, when did this problem start - was it after you installed a new program, or ??? ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100
Originally Posted by Fler: 3. Use utilieties - fr. Norton Utilieties.
Respectfully DISAGREE with the recommendation for Norton Utilities. The program is a resource pig and, aside from speeddisc, provides no real benefit. It was reported a couple of weeks ago that a flaw in Norton Utilities actually creates a security hole. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100
