hi im new to the xbox world ( i bought mine today) and let me explain my situation... ok i have a computer with a wireless network transmitting a wireless signal, in my room i have a laptop reciving that signal. my xbox is also in there and i was wondering how to rig it so i can have a wired connection to my laptop then through my wireless. if your list let me make a diagram Xbox--wire--laptop/\/\/wireless/\/\/computer in other room---internet ok ive read a few how to's on this but they tell me to ineble internet sharing on my wireless connection the only problem is that when i go to the advanced tab all the shows up is something about firewall settings and no internet sharing, it shows up on my other connections but not the wireless. one more question, is it absolutely necessary to have a crossover cable? because i want to keep this as cheap as possible (i spent all my money on the console lol) so yeah thats all i got for now lol.
