Did you uninstall the drivers or simply go into Device Manager and delete them? BTW, it'd help if you provided some info on your computer (i.e. is it built by a mfgr, and if so which one, and what model, etc). ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100

And, do you have the driver and program discs that originally came with the computer? If so, reinstall the sound drivers.
