| I have win xp pro sp2 installed mother board : gigabite GA-8IPE1000-G video card: geforce 4 mx400 64bit sound card: soundblaster live! A firewire pci slot modem supra diamond 56k a 10/100 erthnet slot usb external the pc is booting normaly but it would not log on after the black screen of progress with the win logo completes. The mouse and keyword is working propely. Hard drives sound great and look activePlease help there are important contacts and data within applications which i cannot retrieve unless the op system is back again. Thanx in advance. ps Safe Mode does not work as it gets me at the same situation i was before. (the blue welcome screen with the windows logo but with no option to log on the system.
