[emote|:-@][emote|:-@][emote|:-@][emote|:-@]I hate xbox-es so much, right now i want to smash!t with a freakin hammer. OK, heres the story, i bought my xbox last november, 2006, at gamestop. as you may know, they have a 30 day warranty for pretty much everything. i bought halo 2 with it, along with some brand new games. it worked ok, until like, 2 months later it started to come up with a disk read error, telling me the disk w@sscratched or dirty. frequently and then even more frequently it happened. and now, its intolerable. in halo 2 on xbox live, in the game lobby everyone has to load the map, right? so an error i constantly get is "you failed to load the map". most people can easily fix this problem by simply rebooting and it fixes itself. but with mine, its not that simple. my xbox is so screwed up that when i reboot its all slow and most of the time, it wont even get to the game and tell me its dirty, it will go straight to the green screen. i too contacted xbox support, and nothing helped. absolutely nothin. the only thing that could possibly explain the xbox's problem is an internal hardware problem. so you know what, i give up. i have permanently given up on microsoft for gaming. if a refurbished xbox does this, then the product is crap. and no way am i gunna give microsoft $100 dollars to fix something that they broke in the first place, thats bull****, because i BOUGHT my system for 100$. just the fact that so many other people on this forum site alone have the same problem astonishes me and microsoft should do something about it. now my xbox wont even work. ---------------------------------------------- shabashaba

I bought Wrestlemania 21 for Xbox(duh!) and when I brought it home it would go through the first loading bar, and then give an error message. Every attempt to play it after I ran the disc through a scratch fixer, it would give me a different error message every time. The same three. This is an Xbox disc...., The disc may be dirty...., or The Xbox can't recognize this disc.... Wrestlemania is the only game I have any problems with. HEEELLLP! AARRRRRGGGHHH!

If your XBox plays other games fine, then it's a defective disk. Return it for a replacement. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 15.4" Laptop, Windows Vista Ultimate/Server 2008, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
