Okay, so I dunno what happened to my computer but one day when I booted up I found that most of the files that originally came with the computer, including the audio and graphics software had been deleted. I went online and bought the recovery disks because my cd drives didn't work. But when I put in the disk, nothing happens. I even go into the cd drive's file under My Computer and it says there is nothing in there. I don't know what to do, please help me!?

Chances are that you have to reboot your computer to go into the setup for the computer. I'd strongly recommend checking HP/Compaq's website for instructions. Best guess is that your computer either got a worm or virus that goofed it up. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200 and D100
