If anyone can help, please do. I turn on my computer and instead of the light turning green on my base, it turns amber and blinks constantly.. I turn on the monitor it turns green, then it turns amber and stays at amber.. if I hit a button on my monitor a black screen appears and in the middle it says "In Power Saving Mode" and tells me to hit the space bar or move the mouse or to hit the power switch. None of that works.. What do I do??

When the computer turns on it doesn't sound like anything is even loading. I don't hear the fan or anything... It happened from someone hitting the cable that was plugged into the wall.. Do you think it could of been fried?

Which cable did they hit? The power cable? If you're not hearing a fan, I'd first have the power supply checked. But definitely take it into a shop to have it checked. It's better for someone with diagnostic equipment to check it out, rather than take a wild a** guess as to what's going on. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, ATi Radeon 9550; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
