Hi, I have the following problem: My Windows 2003 server (patch to SP2) has 2 built-in network ports. One is connected to the internet segment while the other is to the backup segment. The network card in the internet segment consistently show the status as up, but no network traffic could come out from there. There is minimum issue on the backup segment network card. When I disable and enable the internet network card, the network trafffic can flow again. Please advise me what is the next steps. In addition, do anyone know any OS command that we can disable and network the network card? Thanks in advance for all the advice given Trekker ~Life is a continuous journey~

Check your duplexing on your switch and NIC and make sure it matches. To enable\disable try : Netsh interface set interface "NAME OF INTERFACE" DISABLED [QUOTE]Originally Posted by Trekker007: Hi, I have the following problem: My Windows 2003 server (patch to SP2) has 2 built-in network ports.
