I recently got Verizon's FIOS TV service after having they're FIOS internet for about a year. Due to getting the TV service they had to install they're own Actiontec M1424 router. Not wanting to use they're router since I already have my wireless network setup and secured, I simply connected my Linksys WRT54Gs router to they're router by running an ethernet cable from the WAN port on the Linksys to an available Ethernet port on the back of Verizons router. I also changed the subnet on my router to 192.168.2 so there wouldn't be conflict with the 192.168.1 subnet running on the Verizon router. All seemed well, my wired and wirelss connections could all connect to the internet. However I now lost the ability to ping my wireless connected machines from any computer as well as lost the ability to map drives to/from these wireless devicess getting a "The network path \\192.168.2.102\c$ could not be found" In addition, I have a NAS device with USB ports the previous to the Verizon router install would show any USB device plugged into the NAS device under "My Network Places" (I had run out of USB slots on my PC). This also no longer works. Strangely enough (at least to me) I can use VNC to remote into my wireless computers from my wired computers and vice versa no problem. The wired and wireless computers both run Win2KPro. Any ideas whats going on. How can I get my drive mapping ability back.
