hi, i have a netgear router and a "TheCloud" wifi account. no wired net connection at home. i want to somehow use the wifi connection i can connect to now (its pub across the road) but use it as the internet in plug in my router so overall i want to join the wifi from the pub and join it to my router. then use the router to transmit signal round the house as i can only pick the wifi from pub up in 1 room. is this possible and if so how ? thanks

Since you're connecting via wireless connection, you'll need to set up one computer with both a wireless and wired ethernet, and use Internet Connection Sharing. The "in" for the connection is obviously the wireless ethernet card. Then, for the "out", connect the router to the wired ethernet port. Run ICS to set this up. From there, you should be able to configure the router to broadcast the connection. Keep in mind that the "host" computer has to be on in order for ICS to work. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, ATi Radeon 9550; SB Audigy SE; Server 2008 Enterprise, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
