I had a virus on my computer this weekend - I had a virus alert next to my clock, disabled display, disabled control panel. I have enabled those now - scanned my computer several times - the problem now is my program files are hidden and my c: drive is hidden - how do I get these back? Thanks!

First, which antivirus software are you using. Second, which version of XP are you running (i.e. Home or Pro)? It sounds like this virus or malware is using admin rights to hide your C drive. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 15.4" Laptop, Windows Vista Ultimate/Server 2008, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200

Home computer - antivirus - mcafee and have also done norton. That is right the admin rights - I have enabled the display, task manager, gotten rid of virus alert beside my clock. The only other things I believe is the c drive is hidden and also my program files.
