Purchased and installed a new 250gb HD for Dell Inspiron 1720. Computer recognizes HD etc. Using discs that came with computer I'm trying to install Vista on new HD. Everything goes fine and the computer restarts and reboots and prepares to finish installing when the computer just quits. It's about 2/3 done when it does this. The indicator light on the laptop showing activity flashes every now and then but other than that it does nothing. Eventually it just goes to a black screen if left long enough. Can anyone help?
