Greetings. I installed a Netgear wireless card on my Dell gx260. Works well but a bit slow with Youtube movies and such. Also drops out every now and again. Ran a cable through to the router. Pluhhed it into the onboard lan card. Says cable is unplugged. Uninstalled and removed wireless card. Says cable is unplugged. Tried the cable on laptop. Works fine. Tested cable with tester. Cable fine. Connected laptop to Dell with crossover cable. Works fine. Reinstalled Ethernet driver. Says cable is unplugged. Swore at it in Bengali. Says cable is unplugged. Manually configured the IP. Says cable is unplugged. Any ideas, great ones? ---------------------------------------------- focus on coal ...
