Hello. I am using my laptop to connect to my neighbors wireless network (with his permission of course) and that laptop gets pretty decent signal strength and speed from the router. However, I also have a desktop PC that doesn't have a WLAN card, and another laptop that doesn't get very good signal strength when used in other parts of the house. I have a spare DLINK DIR-615 router and came up with the idea that I could use the quality signal and speed from the main laptop, feed it to the router, and have the router broadcast that signal wirelessly (for my other laptop) as well as wired (for my desktop PC). When trying to share my connection using ICS, I get an error message saying, "An error has occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled." All computer's are windows-based, running xp or later. Any advice?
