Hello I'm trying to restore Outlook Express 6 (from a Windows XP PC ) email folders into windows Mail (a Vista PC). I've followed all the instructions I've found online: 1 Open Windows Mail as Administrator. 2 File, Import, Messages, Outlook Express 6, Import Mail from Store Directory 3 Browse to a dedicated folder with only the OE6 mail folder files (.dbx) in it. I get the error "No messages can be found in this folder or another application is running that has the required files open. Please select another folder or try c,losing applicaitons that may have files open" I don't have OE6 on this (Vista) PC, so it can't be accessing the files. I also tried restoring the folders back to OE6 on the other Win XP PC, and got the same message! I re-exported the OE6 email folders them in case the other .dbx files were corrupted, but the same thing happened. What am I doing wrong?
