A new build of MSN 8 has been released. You can only get this update if you click the link whilst using MSN 8.

Actually Jeff, I believe that if you enable the parental controls in msn 8 you wont be able to access those sites with ie netscape etc...

So this truly is a parental block for all internet software.

I must say, it's a pretty nice piece of software, too bad it's payware. Not worth the money to me, as I'd probably not use the services.

Well, I am not sure about this download.
I am an MSN subscriber with DSL. I activated the link for V:8 from the MSN browser 7.02.0005.2201.
The download offered is 8.00.0022.1400
Donwload and install was unevenfull and even after reboot the ID the browser is 7.02.0005.2201.
Did get the Messenger 5.0.0537 but also have Windows Messenger 4.7.0105
what gives? why two? they will not hold different addreses anyway.

I've installed MSN 5.0 a few days ago from another site, and when I updated my MSN 8 this evening, it prompted me to download the latest version of MSN 5.0 (5.0.0537) after the reboot.
