Ok... here's a question about Allchin's keynote. He went through the demo of using a USB flash drive for virtual memory. Is this really all that great? From what I've seen, the write and read performance on these is not that great--max is about 20 MB/sec, I think. That's slower than most recent hard drives. I'm not sure about the latency, but nonetheless, those aren't great specs. I'm wondering if you'd gain all that much by using one of these, other than that you can free up some of the hard drive resources doing virtual memory processing for something else.
