New Windows/MSN Messenger Build Release (4.6.0076)
Time: 02:37 EST/07:37 GMT | News Source: E-Mail | Posted By: Byron Hinson

Thanks go out to Paul (surprise, surprise) for this one!. A new build of Windows/MSN Messenger has been release for various versions of Windows. Yet again we are not told what is new in this release, so expect the usual bug fixes. You can download it from the Messenger website.

#11, I'm using 4.6 and the add-on and have never seen any ads. There is a small section now displaying the name of the program, but no ads. The program below will even let you eliminate that, in addition to useful things like giving you actual message history.

#14 - The adverts come in for those who are not using Windows XP - or are using the MSN Add-in download.

I've never seen them once, but I have heard that they do come through if you right-click the graphic. It's moot anyway, since Messenger Plus is a must-have.
