Migrating from Small Business Server 4.5 or Windows NT Server 4.0 to Windows Small Business Server 2003
Time: 00:41 EST/05:41 GMT | News Source: Microsoft | Posted By: Jonathan Tigner

To upgrade to Microsoft® Windows® Small Business Server 2003 from Microsoft Small Business Server 4.5 or Windows NT® Server 4.0, you must perform a server migration. A server migration includes installing Windows Small Business Server 2003 on a new computer, and then migrating data and settings. You can complete a server migration to either a retail installation of Windows Small Business Server 2003 or to a computer purchased from an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that was preinstalled with Windows Small Business Server 2003.

This document describes the process for migrating from Microsoft® Small Business Server 4.5 or Windows NT® Server 4.0 to Microsoft Windows® Small Business Server 2003.
