This sample expands upon the GAPI series of articles by creating a simple playable game demo. The Bust This game demo was developed as a simple demonstration of the power of the .NET Compact Framework to support a managed game library. This simple game demo is implemented in managed code and utilizes XML to provide game level information. The game plays much like the old game Break Out. It supports variable sized playing fields, a static background and unique block, ball, and paddle definitions on a per-level basis. |
