New Yahoo! Portal and 100MB Free Yahoo! Email
Time: 09:49 EST/14:49 GMT | News Source: ActiveWin.com | Posted By: Brian Kvalheim

<%=GetPoll(91)%> Just an FYI. The Yahoo! Portal page is all new. The Yahoo! email section has also seen a cosmetic upgrade along with 100MB email capacity (as opposed to the previous 6MB) and 10MB message size capability. Obviously in response to the new Gmail coming from Google no doubt. Check it out!

I got a mail telling me I could send and receive mails bigger than 3Mb now - I never had a problem sending big mails before - when I was a BT Openworld customer....

I'd love a gmail invite. Phaedrus if you've got one you'd like to give out then send it my way. Please and thankyou, zeo01@hotmail.comnospam. [delete the nospam part].

Yahoo's attempt is nice, I'd like to see hotmail follow suit, although yesterday neowin was running a story about a site offering unlimited space and unlimited sized attachements, they got up to 1TB before they conceded it was a true unlimited offering.

Phaedrus: so, I wrote you even before you edit your post to add the part where you ask people if they want to try Gmail. I'm from Canada, got my mail? I haven't received an answer and you gave all of them? :-(

#12 Gmail accounts need to be at least 6 characters.

Speaking of Gmail, it is very very cool, can't wait for them to implement the rest of the missing features such as ability to import contacts etc. The fact that the whole thing is scripted for keyboard shortcuts works brilliantly.

Well, you're telling me I wasn't the 1st to email you but you came here to edit/add the invitation after you got my email. Weird. And just to add to this, you wrote in post #2 "I just got some invites" and then you are replying me (post #16) you only had 'one' invite.

I just missed a chance to evaluate it if we'll restrict or not our 1300 users..

Anyway to get in touch with a Gmail admin or something? I have a valuable point (you obviously missed) to take a look at it.

You did not have to reply but since you did and there are something unclear I must clarify. I'm in no way angry or whatever, just discussing. Under the alias DL I have very few post, true. I have more under another name on my computer at work but I was back to home when I added a comment here. And finally, I think if you look at the time stamp, I wrote you an email (under your MSN account) before Zeo did here. But I agree you may have not took a look at your MSN before here and I understand, really there is no problem.

Have a nice day.

I don't see a problem with 2MB storage limits, it just reduces the amount of spam I have to delete every day... Blacklist is full and I still get 50-75 spams a day
