You can? The site isn't slow to load, but I get a 404 File not found error on the download link.

--edit-- The download now link leads to a MS page of "Sorry, that page seems to not exist" page...sort of an internal, nicer, 404 error page....as of 9:30AM EDT

It's working fine now. Yep, early on it seems that the pages were either slow to load or not serving up correctly in your browser. Now it seems completely fine. Any word on whether it works with iPod?

"MUCH longer"? You sure as it took exactly the same time as WMP9 for me.

Annoyingly, us lot in the UK don't get any online stores yet (well, I don't)

As for MP3 encoding, yes it works, proper MP3 encoding (at last).

I was never going to use iTunes, for one it doesn't name the files properly. WMP10 and Musicmatch names them as YOU want it.

But don't get rid of iTunes yet, I believe you still need it to transfer your tunes to the iPod.

#14 Yes you could always rip, but no higher than I think 48Kbps. I don't think you can use any other codec with WMP.

There's a red X where one of the buttons is supposed to be along the top. Must be missing a bitmap? Reinstalling didn't fix it.

So far so good. I like it. Much better interface.

default user - It's because the MSN Music Service doesn't have an icon.

Yep, it's missing the butterfly. Any way to fix that?

Haven't figured it out yet.

The stores are listed in the registry under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Services

The MSN store has valid URLs for its images. The player just won't show them.

Sucks! It can't be installed on 2K.. I'd like to have this on my 2k system.

Oh well.

Hey thanks. It worked for me. Even when I switch music stores. Good work.

No #31, it's up to 320Kbps now. And seeing as it creates proper filenames according to how YOU want it, that means I don't need iTunes or Musicmatch to rip anymore. The latest version of Musicmatch is bugged anyway (9.0.0128)

The small UI enhancements have made this great.

And just in time to, as I am so pissed with iTunes.... it created in some cases 2, 3, or 4 copies of most everything in my library... why did some get more copies than others? Why did some not get copied at all? Why the hell did it make ANY copies?

Now I have to go through about 50gb of music just to cut that number down in half, to where it should be at.
