Paint.NET v2.5 Final Release now available
Time: 00:54 EST/05:54 GMT | News Source: Microsoft | Posted By: Jonathan Tigner

This release is a huge improvement over v2.1b and is a highly recommended upgrade. The major goals were to improve performance, expand selection support to be much more useful and powerful, provide support for localization to other languages, and to have an easier way for users to have the latest version (update manager). Other features added include the ability to work with measurements in inches and centimeters, a 3D Rotate/Zoom effect, Sepia adjustment, Radial Blur and Add Noise effects, GIF transparency support, TGA file format support, file format plugin support, and a refined Text tool.

Paint.NET is a must-download for everyone. Install it on every computer you can find that has only Microsoft Paint for image-editing. I'm hopeful (since Microsoft sponsers the project) that it'll eventually get included in Windows Vista in place of MS Paint.

Not working. No file is sent.

Of course the "Click here for your free 2 min PC scan" ad is alive and kicking...
